If the policyholder raises a claim for any issues that are a result of vector-borne diseases diagnosed before or during the purchase of the policy, it will not be taken forward.
A claim will be rejected if it is based on a diagnosis by an unregistered medical practitioner or from a medical authority that is working outside the field that they are licensed for. A diagnosis based on self-medication or a scientifically unrecognized or unproven/experimental form of treatment will also not be considered for claims.
Claims, where the policyholder has intentionally delayed medical treatment, will not be considered.
Any claims raised due to issues related to or as a consequence of injury, disease or damage caused due to attempted suicide, intentional self-harm, self-exposure to needless peril (except in an attempt to save human life), or gross negligence of the insured person or his/her family will not be considered.
Claims based on any consequential or indirect loss or expenses caused due to the insured event will not be considered.
