Our Winners
🏆 Winner- Rajni Shaatri
Cherished Tales- My mom Krishna Devi, is the quiet magic behind every bright moment in my life. I lost my dad when I was just 8, and from that day on, she became everything for me, my mom, my dad, my teacher, my best friend, even the sister I never had.
After dad passed away, things became really tough. My step grandma asked us to leave the house. With no support, no money, and two small kids, my mom brought us to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh. She didn’t know anyone here. But she didn’t give up.
She started stitching clothes from morning till late night.
There are so many memorable moments with my mom whether it’s how she stayed up all night stitching my school costume, or how she walked miles to buy my favorite birthday cake without telling me we didn’t have much money. Whether it was her sitting beside me through late-night study sessions or oiling my hair every Sunday while singing old songs softly.
But the most unforgettable moment that showed her Heart of Gold was the day, when we went to Ram Leela Maidan to see Ram leela. We were full of joy and excitement. But in the middle of all the fun, we saw a little girl crying , she had lost her parents.
While people walked past, my mom went straight to her, held her gently, and comforted her like her own child. She didn’t eat, didn’t watch the Ram Leela, she just stayed with that girl, asking around until her parents were found.
That day, I didn’t just see the story of Lord Ram on stage, I saw his kindness in my mom.
She may not wear a crown, but to me, she’ll always be a queen with a heart of gold.
And that day, she made me truly proud 💕🙏
My mom is just like a DIAMOND 💎. Life gave her pressure from every side, but she never broke. She only became stronger. Even, now when, she is suffering from osteoarthritis and can't walk properly but she still shines with love, strength, and courage.
Happy mother's day dear IFFCO-Tokio team 🙏

Cherished Tales- God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers" God favoured us with a an exceptional and valuable blessing as a Mother.
My mom Sumitra Goyal is a fighter and inspiring. ❤️
I belong to a very conservative family. Since childhood only i have never seen my grand ma my even my aunt taking participating in any family matters. All decisions taken by the male members of our family. None of my last 4 generations ladies have dared to change it. But with my birth i witness things changing. My mom Sumitra Goyal took initiative to change this history of my family and create a new rule for which all women need to be confident smart and educated enough to stand so that they also sit with their husbands’ brothers’ uncles or sons in my family in regards of any vital decision. She protected mine and all my female members of the family to protect their self-confidence & should be also given equal decision to choose life-partner. All ladies in my family can say what to eat what to wear where to go of their choice. She raised her voice to say all in my family have the right to educate, make themselves capable enough to handle their own issues. She went ahead on behalf of all women in my family and say that we are equally important our ideas are also creative and our decisions also matter a lot.
Birth of a Girl child has always been a burden in my Family. But with my birth everything seems to come in place. Despite of all odds and difficulties she managed to complete me done schooling, college higher education with the scholarship. She made my home people convinced that she's proud to give Girl child birth who is no less than a guy. She told being a girl child I’m born to rule, has wings to fly, brave to fight, has talent to explore, is brave to fight, beauty to cherish, specially designed multi-tasker. You’re not just my mom; you’re my greatest friend and my guiding light. I love you more than words can say! “You are a precious gem to me.

Cherished Tales- Losing a pet can be an especially difficult experience, and I was heartbroken when my furry friend passed away. My mother, being the amazing woman that she is, knew just how to comfort me during this difficult time. She sat with me for hours as I cried and told her all about my pet and how much I loved her.
My mother listened with patience and understanding, and even shared stories about her own childhood pets, which helped me feel less alone. My mother also suggested that we create a special memorial for my pet. She helped me make a small scrapbook with pictures of my pet and wrote down all of our favorite memories together. We also planted a tree in her memory in our backyard to say goodbye to my pet.
Throughout the entire experience, my mother was there for me, reminding me that it was okay to feel sad and that I had every right to grieve. She also helped me understand that although my pet was no longer with us, she would always be in my heart. That moment with my mother taught me the importance of having a support system during difficult times and the power of empathy and kindness. I will never forget the love and comfort my mother provided me during that difficult phase in my life

Cherished Tales - I have always known my mother as a tough person. Woman get extra emotional when it comes to sending their kids away for any reason.
I remember the day very clearly it was dawn I had to board the train with my father as I was leaving for my education. My mother came by the door her face was still. She gathered all her might to say bye to me with happy heart.
I was expecting a teary farewell but there she was waving her hand and wishing me best. not a single tear dropped down to her cheeks as she knew it would make me weak. Years later when I asked her about that day she smiled and said “I wanted you to remember my happy face everytime you miss me

Cherished Tales - I went through a minor surgery 9 years back. On the day of surgery, I have to reach the hospital at 8 in the morning. Only one person was allowed to sit outside OT which was on the 5th floor. It was decided a day before that my husband would accompany me.
So my mother woke up early, did the house chores and got ready before 8, or maybe she didn't sleep the night before. Her words: I can't sit at home in this tension, worrying about you. I want to accompany you. We reached there. They didn't allow her to go upstairs.
Her words: "mai yahin ground floor par baith jaungi par ghar nai jaungi tujhe chodke. She knew that she was my biggest emotional support. The guard gave her a chair to sit in. I went up with a heavy heart. Surgery started after an hour and went for 4 hours.
I was allowed to go meet and go home after a total of 8 hours. When I came out, I thought mummy chali gayin hongi. Bahut time ho gaya. But when I came down, she was lying down on a chair with closed eyes (not sleeping. I think praying) and waiting for me. My surgery was successful because of her prayers.
This for me was her extra effort - it always brings me to tears. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you.
