What are the different components of a commercial vehicle insurance policy?

There are majorly 4 basic components of the commercial vehicle insurance policy - third-party cover, personal accident cover, own-damage cover, and the add-ons. If you buy the third-party commercial vehicle insurance policy, you only get coverage for third-party liabilities. However, if you buy the comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance policy, you get to avail the third-party cover and the own-damage cover. Some insurers include the personal accident cover in their comprehensive policy by default while the other insurers give you an option to include the same in your policy. Buying a comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance policy also allows you to choose different add-ons to extend the coverage of your insurance plan. Including these add-ons/riders to your comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance policy increases your premium but it also gives you a wider coverage for your vehicle.
